Reconstitute the lyophilized product with deionized water (or equivalent) to make the antibody concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
The HA tag is a polypeptide with the amino acid sequence YPYDVPDYA that can be added to a target protein using recombinant DNA technology. It can be fused to the N-terminus or C-terminus of the protein to facilitate detection and purification. An anti-HA tag antibody is a useful tool for the analysis of HA-tagged proteins. THE™ HA Tag Antibody [iFluor 488], mAb, Mouse is THE™ HA Tag Antibody (A01244) conjugated with iFluor 488 under optimal conditions with an F/P ratio of 4-8. It is suitable for detecting the expression level of HA -tagged proteins. iFluor 488 is a bright and photostable fluorescent dye. It is an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor 488.
Upon reconstitution, it can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8 °C or for up to 12 months at -20 °C or below.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag that provides a method to localize gene products in a variety of cell types, study the topology of proteins and protein complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize newly identified, low abundance or poorly immunogenic proteins when protein specific antibodies are not available. HA (hemagglutinin) is a surface glycoprotein derived from influenza hemagglutinin, and is commonly expressed as a tag in conjunction with proteins to aid in identification and purification of the tagged protein for functional analysis. HA tag antibodies can be used to facilitate protein detection or co-immunopreciptation of tagged proteins.
