Immunohistochemistry analysis of ALP in paraffin-embedded endometrium tissue. Sample was incubated with ALP monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-55957) at a dilution of 1 µg/mL (RT, 1 hour). Antigen was retrieved through addition of boiling Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9 in a pressure cooker for 3 min. ALP is found in a variety of tumors but only occasionally in normal tissues. Ovarian cancers are highly positive. ALP is further found in brain tumors, some colonic cancers, some lung cancers, some prostate cancers, uterine cancers, some breast cancers and some thyroid cancers. It was not found in serum.
