FOXA1 Antibody (PA5-114119) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence analysis of FOXA1 was performed using 70% confluent log phase LNCaP and SW480 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 10 minutes and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. This gene encodes a member of the forkhead class of DNA-binding proteins. These hepatocyte nuclear factors are transcriptional activators for liver-specific transcripts such as albumin and transthyretin, and they also interact with chromatin. Similar family members in mice have roles in the regulation of metabolism and in the differentiation of the pancreas and liver.
