HSL Antibody (PA5-99543) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HSL in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with HSL polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99543) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) is an intracellular neutral lipase found in a variety of tissues, but primarily in adipose and steroidogenic tissues. It hydrolyzes triglycerides and cholesteryl esters. It is the major enzyme responsible for the mobilization of free fatty acids from adopise tissue.
