NIPA Antibody (A302-942A) in WB
Detection of human NIPA by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-NIPA antibody A302-942A used for WB at 0.04 µg/ml (A) and 0.4 µg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. NIPA was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-NIPA antibody A302-941A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 10 seconds (A and B).

This gene encodes an F-box-containing protein that is a component of an SCF-type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex that regulates the onset of cell division. The G2/M transition in the cell cycle requires the interaction of the proteins cyclin B1 and cyclin-dependent kinase 1. The activated ubiquitin ligase complex targets the protein cyclin B1 for degradation, preventing this transition to mitosis.
