Immunocytochemistry analysis of NOX5 using anti-NOX5 antibody (Product # PA5-95572) . NOX5 was detected in a section of HeLa cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 2μg/mL rabbit anti-NOX5 antibody (Product # PA5-95572) overnight at 4°C. This gene is predominantly expressed in the testis and lymphocyte-rich areas of spleen and lymph nodes. It encodes a calcium-dependen NADPH oxidase that generates superoxide, and functions as a calcium-dependent proton channel that may regulate redox-dependent processes in lymphocytes and spermatozoa.
