PU.1 Antibody (PA5-35158) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of PU.1 in NIH/3T3 cells. Samples were incubated with PU.1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-35158) using a dilution of 1:25 for 1 h at 37°C followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) at a dilution of 1:400 for 50 min at 37°C. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min) and permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min). This gene encodes an ETS-domain transcription factor that activates gene expression during myeloid and B-lymphoid cell development. The nuclear protein binds to a purine-rich sequence known as the PU-box found near the promoters of target genes, and regulates their expression in coordination with other transcription factors and cofactors. The protein can also regulate alternative splicing of target genes. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
