Ran Antibody (MA5-36236) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of Ran in U20S cell. Antigen retrieval was performed with enzyme antigen retrieval (15 min). Samples were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated in Ran monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-36236) at a dilution of 2 µg/mL (overnight, 4°C), followed by DyLight 488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (30 min, 37°C) at a dilution of 1:100.

Ran (ras-related nuclear protein) is a small GTP binding protein belonging to the RAS superfamily that is essential for the translocation of RNA and proteins through the nuclear pore complex. The Ran protein is also involved in control of DNA synthesis and cell cycle progression. Nuclear localization of Ran requires the presence of regulator of chromosome condensation 1 (RCC1).
