SPRR1B Antibody (PA5-26062) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry analysis of SPRR1B in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma. Samples were incubated with SPRR1B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-26062) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

SPRR1B is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane. Can function as both amine donor and acceptor in transglutaminase-mediated cross-linkage.
