Western Blot analysis of VAX2 using a VAX2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98238). Positive WB detected in: Hela whole cell lysate, A549 whole cell lysate. All lanes: VAX2 antibody at 1:2000. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:50,000 dilution. Observed band size: 31 kDa.

Target Information
This gene encodes a homeobox protein and is almost exclusively expressed in the ventral portion of the retina during development. In mouse studies, this gene was found to be required for the correct formation of the optic fissure and other aspects of retinal development.
