PA5-33215 has been shown to be negative on all mouse cells and cell lines tested. This antibody recognizes a human cell surface marker, and therefore cannot be used as a negative control in this species.
Test results have shown that PA5-33215 is also suitable for use as a negative control with canine tissues.

It is produced by the rat immune system and is known for its ability to activate complement and mediate antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC). Rat IgG2a has a molecular weight of approximately 160 kDa and is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains.
