How to apply a promotion or quote code

Applying promotion codes or quotes

You can apply promotion and quote codes during your purchase to take advantage of special pricing as they are offered by your Sales Representative or through advertised promotional programs.

Promotion and quote codes are applied in the cart, in the field called Enter a quote or a promotion. You will need to ensure the relevant products/quantities are added to your cart before entering the promotion code or quote.

Hint: You can save promotion or quote codes within your profile under Payment Methods. Saved promotions/quotes will appear automatically in your cart for each purchase until they are removed from your profile.

Generate a web quote

In many regions, you can create a document displaying your account-specific pricing for a set of product(s). To do this, use the Generate Web Quote feature in the cart.

  • This will generate a quotation, in PDF format that applies your account pricing and displays the order total, including applicable tax and handling charges calculated at the time your web quote was generated. Save or print this quotation and use it in your internal procurement processes.
  • Once a web quote is generated, a unique cart is created in Saved Carts with a “W” prefix that you can process at anytime.

Note: Your quote is the price at the time your cart is created. Prices may change at any time without notice, which may render your quote inaccurate. Please contact your Account Representative with any questions about your pricing.

Step 1

Sign in  to your  Account.  In order to view account-specific prices, you will need to have your account linked to your organization’s account number. If you have just registered for an account and requested account linking, it can take up to 48 hours for your account to be activated.

Step 2

Add the products to your cart you want to include in your quote. If you have an additional quote or promotional code, apply it to your cart.

Step 3

Select the  Generate web quote button, which will create a printable/savable PDF of your web quote.

Ordering web quote items

Step 1

Your web quotation can be found in your Account, within  Saved Carts. The quote name will start with “W” – indicating a web quote. Select the quote number to view the products in your quote/cart.

Step 2

Review cart and proceed with the checkout process.
