CD99 Antibody (PA5-102556) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of CD99 in human pancreatic cancer and adjacent normal tissues. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with CD99 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102556) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

CD99 (E2, MIC2) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is involved in regulation of T cell addhesive properties and programmed cell death distinct from typical apoptosis course. CD99 roles are specific to certain stages of T cell differentiation such as corticothymocytes. CD99R isoform expression is restricted in the haematopoietic system to T, NK and myeloid cells.
