AA Sequence of recombinant protein: TPVVRKGRCS CISTNQGTIH LQSLKDLKQF APSPSCEKIE IIATLKNGVQ TCLNPDSADV KELIKKWEKQ VSQKKKQKNG KKHQKKKVLK VRKSQRSRQK KTT.
Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Humna MIG (CXCL9). Anti-Human MIG (CXCL9)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human MIG by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human MIG (500-P50) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human MIG.
Western Blot: To detect Human MIG by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIG is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
500-P50BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 µg
MIG, also known as CXCL9, is a T-cell chemoattractant inducible by gamma interferon that is a member of the CXC chemokine family of cytokines. This gene is mapped to 4q21. It is noted that, although the best-described activities of the chemokines are as chemotactic factors, chemokines also have an effect on T-cell activation, angiogenesis, and HIV infection. While most CXC chemokines are chemotactic for neutrophils, MIG and INP10 are unusual and similar in being CXC chemokines that are chemotactic for lymphocytes and inactive in neutrophils.
