GBA2 Antibody (PA5-72342) in WB
Western blot analysis of GBA2 in various lysates. Samples were incubated with GBA2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72342) using a dilution of 1:2,000 followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 20 µg per lane. Lane 1: human brain lysate; Lane 2: mouse brain lysate. Predicted band size: 105 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Involved in sphingomyelin generation and prevention of glycolipid accumulation. May also catalyze the hydrolysis of bile acid 3-O-glucosides, however, the relevance of such activity is unclear in vivo. Plays a role in central nevous system development. Required for proper formation of motor neuron axons.
