GOT2 Antibody (PA5-35374) in WB
Western blot analysis of GOT2 in lysates from Hela, HepG2, HL-60, Ramos, mouse brain cell line (from left to right). Samples were incubated with GOT2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-35374) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at a dilution of 1:5,000. Lysates at 35 µg per lane.

GOT2 is a glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology.
