HERC2 Antibody (A301-905A) in WB
Detection of human HERC2 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (10 µg) from HeLa, MCF-7, Jurkat, and HEK293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-HERC2 antibody (Product # A301-905A lot 3) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Required for maintenance and establishment of the mitotic spindle poles, functionning as a tether linking bulk microtubules of the spindle to centrosomes. May be involved in coordination of the alignment of the mitotic spindle to the cellular polarity axis, which is a prerequisite for asymmetric cell divisions.
