HIPK1 Antibody (CF807260) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY HIPK1 (RC206176, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-HIPK1. Positive lysates LY405750 (100 µg) and LC405750 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

HIPK1 phosphorylates homeodomain transcription factors and may also function as a co-repressor for homeodomain transcription factors. The protein encoded by HIPK1 belongs to the Ser/Thr family of protein kinases and HIPK subfamily. Alternative splicing results in four transcript variants encoding four distinct isoforms.
