Myosin-10 Antibody (A302-042A) in IP
Detection of human Myosin-10 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Myosin-10 antibody (Product # A302-042A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. Myosin-10 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Myosin-10 antibody A302-043A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated Myosin-10, A302-043A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

MYH10 encodes a member of the myosin superfamily. The protein represents a conventional non-muscle myosin; it should not be confused with the unconventional myosin-10 (MYO10). Myosins are actin-dependent motor proteins with diverse functions including regulation of cytokinesis, cell motility, and cell polarity. Mutations in this gene have been associated with May-Hegglin anomaly and developmental defects in brain and heart. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
