Western blot analysis of Norovirus VP1 in 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) separated by 10% SDS-PAGE. Membrane was blotted with Norovirus VP1 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-47134) using a dilution of 1:5,000 followed by HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody.

Mutations in the protruding domain 2 (P2 domain) of the norovirus major capsid protein (VP1) result in the emergence of various NOV variants, however, it is unclear whether the minor capsid protein (VP2) also affects the generation of VP1 variants.
