PRMT5 Antibody (730054) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence analysis of PRMT5 was done on 70% confluent log phase MCF-7 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 10 minutes, and blocked with 1% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. PRMT5 specifically mediates the symmetrical dimethylation of arginine residues in the small nuclear ribonucleoproteins Sm D1 and Sm D3; such methylation is required for the assembly and biogenesis of snRNP core particles.
