Software Update (Rev 2.4.1468.172)
Announcing EVOS M7000 Software Revision 2.4.1468.172
Revision 2.4.1468.172 introduces an optional 2D deconvolution tool to EVOS Analysis to reconstruct scattered fluorescence and improve image clarity. This software version also increases the computer’s CPU speed and reduces the cooling fan noise by allowing the CPU to idle. Further, a bug was corrected where pseudocolors assigned to fluorescence channels during acquisition reverted to their original colors.
Please review the Installation Instructions below before updating your software.
New features
- Support for 2D Deconvolution of single and multichannel images requires purchase of AMEP5022 or AMEP5023. Provides an easy-to-use deconvolution module in EVOS Analysis to restore blurred images and improve image quality.
- Deconvolution iterations and signal brightness can be selected in the deconvolution controls, making the module adaptable to a wide range of images.
- Batch Deconvolution allows deconvolving large image sets with a single click, saving time.
- Compatibility of deconvolved images with the Acquisition software. Deconvolved time lapse or Z-stack videos can be created. Users can visualize complete deconvolved scans in the acquisition software, enhancing the usability of the deconvolution module.
- The computer’s CPU can now idle for the M7000 Acquisition and Analysis software. This increases the CPU speed and lowers noise from the fan.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where pseudocolors assigned to channels in the Acquisition software reverted to their default colors.
