This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-145028. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which plays an important role in the MAPK pathway. JNK2 (p54a, SAPK1a), along with JNK1 and JNK3, is thought to play an important role in nuclear signal transduction through its environmental stress activation and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
