Organism Type | Rat | Kirsten Murine Sarcoma Virus transformed rat kidney epithelial cells. Cultures can be maintained by transferring floating cells to additional flasks. Attached cells may be subcultured using 0.25% trypsin-0.03% EDTA. Remove medium, add fresh 0.25% trypsin solution for 2 to 3 minutes, remove trypsin and let the culture sit at 37C for 10 to 15 minutes. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. |
