SPME Fiber (Collection of five different SPME Fibers)

Automate solvent-free solid phase micro extraction (SPME) sample preparation by performing sample extraction and enrichment in a single step using Thermo Scientific™ SPME Arrow and SPME Fiber products. These products are used with the Thermo Scientific™ TriPlus RSH™ autosampler prior to gas chromatography (GC) or gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis. The SPME Arrow and Fiber products are designed for volatile and semi-volatile compounds having a large range of boiling point and polarity. This sample preparation technique is ideal for ultra-trace and trace GC and GC/MS analysis of solid, liquid, or gas samples from environmental, food, clinical, and forensic industries.

SPME Fiber and Arrow products
The SPME Arrow and Fiber comprise a thin fused-silica fiber coated by an organic phase. They extract and concentrate analytes by ab- or adsorption and desorption processes. The fiber is successively thermally desorbed into a GC injector and the analytes are transferred to the analytical column. Selecting SPME Fiber or SPME Arrow depends on hardware compatibility and which product is used in your validated laboratory method.

GC Compatibility
SPME Arrow and SPME Fiber products are for use with the TriPlus RSH autosampler with GC analysis using the Thermo Scientific TRACE 1300 Series GC with an Instant Connect Split/Splitless injector or a TRACE GC Ultra Split/Splitless injector.
