Low-power Eco modes

Electron source: cold field emission gun (E-CFEG)

 

E-CFEG is a low-energy spread cold field emission gun for higher contrast at truly atomic resolution. Low energy spread (≤0.3 eV) enables higher contrast at high resolutions (≤2.0 Å); Improved contrast at high spatial frequencies to reach higher resolutions in less time.
